Under-Resourced School Outreach
Understaffed schools, low funding, limited accessibility. Children in underprivileged neighborhoods face these and other pressing obstacles in their pursuit of STEM.
Coding for Community partners with schools in underprivileged areas to lead immersive educational initiatives in the fields of programming and robotics. We have implemented tailored afterschool curriculums teaching students Microsoft Office proficiency, Scratch logic programming, Java development, website creation, and robotics. At the same time, we mentor these students, providing motivation and guidance as they explore STEM opportunities and careers that many of them had previously thought unattainable. Through these efforts, we empower students from disadvantaged backgrounds to become proficient in widespread technologies, helping train the next generation of leaders and problem-solvers.
